Privacy Policy for ACP Billing

Last Updated: October 31, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how "ACP Billing" (the "App"), developed by The Law Office of Kevin Gunther ("we," "us," or "our"), handles your information.

1. Our Core Privacy Principle: We Don't Collect Your Data

Our business model is simple: we sell you this App. We do not want your personal data, your client data, or your billing data.

ACP Billing is a tool designed to store data on your device and within your personal iCloud account. We do not have any servers that collect or store your data. We cannot see, access, share, or sell any of the information you enter into the App.

2. How Your Data is Stored

A. On-Device Storage

All information you enter, including client names, docket numbers, and time entries, is stored locally on your device in a private, secure database using Apple's SwiftData framework.

B. iCloud Sync

To provide you with a seamless backup and sync experience across your devices (iPhone, iPad, and Mac), the App uses Apple’s CloudKit service.

This service syncs your data to your private iCloud database. This database is tied to your Apple ID. We have no access to it. Your data is encrypted by Apple, and we cannot read or access it in any way. Any data synced to iCloud is subject to Apple's privacy policy.

3. What Information the App Manages (On Your Behalf)

The App is designed to manage the following data on your device and in your private iCloud account:

This data is considered your data, not ours.

4. How Your Data is Used

The App uses your data only to provide you with its intended features:

5. Third-Party Services: Web Form Automation

The App includes a feature ("Open Web Form") that opens a WKWebView to an external website: https://acpcases.nyc.gov.

When you use this feature, the App will, on your behalf, attempt to auto-fill the web form on that site using your client and time entry data.

6. Analytics and Advertising

ACP Billing does not contain any third-party analytics (like Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.) or advertising frameworks. We do not track you, build a profile of you, or monitor your usage.

7. Children's Privacy

ACP Billing is a professional tool intended for legal professionals. It is not directed at or intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our website. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
